Overview
All Pro Pathways is building a pool of qualified Per Diem Nurse Practitioners to support urgent care and clinical facility partners across Riverside County and the Inland Empire. This position is contracted through All Pro Pathways and provides flexible, on-call clinical coverage in outpatient healthcare settings.
We are seeking experienced and patient-focused Nurse Practitioners who can deliver high-quality primary and urgent care services while maintaining compliance with California clinical standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, efficient documentation practices, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary care teams.
This role offers an opportunity to provide direct patient care in fast-paced environments while contributing to the growth of community-based healthcare services.
Responsibilities
• Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice
• Perform patient evaluations, physical exams, and medical decision-making consistent with clinic protocols
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging when applicable
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans according to California law and standardized procedures
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation
• Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and state healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with supervising physicians or medical directors as required by clinic policies
• Support quality improvement, patient education, and continuity of care initiatives
• Participation in externships
Qualifications
• Active California Nurse Practitioner license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
• Active California Registered Nurse license in good standing
• National NP certification (FNP, AGNP, or related specialty)
• Furnishing Number and DEA registration (preferred or required depending on site)
• Completion of standardized procedures agreement or practice under California NP practice authority guidelines
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred for urgent care environments
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical experience in urgent care, primary care, or outpatient setting
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in urgent care, occupational health, or high-volume clinic environments
• Comfortable with electronic health record systems
• Strong patient communication and time-management skills
• Ability to adapt to multiple clinic workflows
