Overview
All Pro Pathways is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging EKG Instructor (Contract) to support healthcare training programs.
In this role, you will provide instruction on electrocardiography (EKG) techniques, rhythm interpretation, and patient care fundamentals to students preparing for entry-level healthcare roles. This opportunity is ideal for experienced EKG professionals who enjoy working with adult learners in a hands-on training environment.
Responsibilities
• Deliver EKG instruction aligned with established course objectives in classroom and lab settings
• Facilitate hands-on training to support student skill development in EKG procedures
• Explain cardiac rhythms, monitoring techniques, and patient care concepts
• Provide feedback on student performance and learning progress
• Maintain basic records of attendance and student outcomes as required by the program
• Utilize provided instructional materials and resources to support training delivery
• Foster a positive, professional learning environment for adult learners
Skills
• Strong knowledge of EKG procedures, cardiac monitoring, and rhythm interpretation
• Ability to communicate effectively with adult learners
• Comfortable demonstrating clinical techniques in a training environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback
Minimum Qualifications
• Certified EKG Technician (CET) (Required)
• 2+ years of hands-on clinical EKG experience
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience
• Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) or similar credential
• Experience in vocational or allied health training programs
Schedule & Location
• Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 5 PM
Compensation
• $29/hour
Work Arrangement
• This opportunity is offered through All Pro Pathways as an independent contract role. Instructors may be assigned to support partner training programs based on program needs.
